Fredrik Callinggard

Director

Fredrik was born in 1972 in Lund/Sweden. After his studies at the Film College in Sweden, he worked as director of photography for Adam Berg and went to London with him to film video clips. He earned several awards, for instance for Madonna‘s video "American Pie" at the  MTV Music Awards. During his cooperation with Berg, he also discovered his passion for commercials and in particular for directing.

His career as a director was boosted when he won the Cyber Gold Lion in Cannes for his work  „DreamKitchens“ for IKEA. He has realized countless spots for customers like Pepsi, T-Mobile, Coca-Cola, Samsung or Peugeot since. His ability to combine effect-loaded plots with realism, humour and humanity makes him a very successful director all over the world.
